Thomas Quintens has worked as a waiter for twelve years, before becoming the owner of De Verloren Hoek with his business partner Zura.
THE CONGENIAL HOST
Since 2010, De Verloren Hoek has been the start of his career, in which he was able to realize his dream as a business owner in 2021. His casual approach, passion, customer-friendliness and honesty is what Thomas stands for. All this in combination with its "retro resto vibes" makes De Verloren Hoek a homecoming for every customer.
Zura Sabanashvili was a cook under the previous owner and is now the owner together with Thomas.
FAMILY
Family always comes first for me, only when you really feel at home somewhere, can you relax and enjoy the moment to the fullest. I also take this vision with me every day in the kitchen.
Every customer is family to us and that also reflects on the plate. People should feel welcome, feel at home. Enjoying a tapa during the aperitif or a good glass of wine makes your mouth water for more. The great diversity of dishes with ingredients that are grown with love and craftsmanship are transformed into a delicacy on the plate with respect for the product.
Because family only deserves the best.
DE VERLOREN HOEK
I like the location and the regular clientele. As soon as you step in the restaurant, you feel at home.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
OUR CUSTOMERS ARE LIKE FAMILY
FRESH PRODUCTS
"Food" is more than our job, it's our passion.
HIGH QUALITY
We make no compromises on quality and only choose the best products. However, by limiting our menu we can offer a fair price.
LOVE FOR THE PRODUCT
Every dish, every bottle of wine, is part of De Verloren Hoek and plays the role of our business card. We test everything to be sure of their quality.
POWERTEAM
Thomas and Zura together form a "dream team" where their shared passion for their restaurant can shine. Each with their own specialty, but with a common goal: to make De Verloren Hoek a top restaurant.
